Lion server integrated with mac highway hosted site?

I've been trying to set up lion server to work over the internet forever! I have created an A record in the advanced dns settings in the cpanel that is named server.myDomainThatsRegisteredWithMachighway.com and pointed it to my public ip address. I then went into the lion server application, edit the hostname to work over the internet and put in the hostname name as server.myDomainThatsRegisteredWithMachighway.com (the same name as the A record name). However, it still doesn't say that the network is configured properly in the next steps section.Could dns be an issue? If so, how do I fix it? I'm new to servers and dns alike and have no idea what to do. Does anyone have any ideas?

I don't quite know where to start with this but is there a reason why you want to do the hosting yourself?

I'll start with the 1st question do you have a dynamic or static IP address?
