iphones and ipads give you a selection of mail account types starting with iCloud, Microsoft exchange, Gmail, YAHOO, Aol, hotmail, MobileMe and other.
can anyone here explain how to set up a iphone or ipad to receive mail with out having to forward it to one of these email address types??

    Hi, VIVE-ARTIST

Firstly you should have all your e-mail address is set up in CPanel in your hosting account.

You will need your computer and your iPhone login to your MacHighway CPanel area look for the mail tab and then go in to e-mail accounts.

You will then need to find the address you wish to configure on the right-hand side there should be a tab drop down menu labeled "more" You want to click on this and then choose the "Configure EMail Client" You will need to find the following options from the "Manual Settings"

    Mail Server Username:
    Incoming Mail Server: (SSL)
    Outgoing Mail Server: (SSL)
You will also require the password for the e-mail address

On the iPhone proceed to Settings and find "Mail, Contacts, Calendar" Once in their choose "Add Account" Then you want to choose the other option. And then continue with the setup process you will need to fill in the information that you retrieve earlier in the relevant boxes.
