Cyberduck 2.x

Select (click on) the file or folder you want to set permissions for. Then select "Info " from the "File" menu:

This will bring up a dialog box. The lower portion of the resulting window will allow you to click checkboxes to set permissions.

If you're setting permissions on a folder, clicking the "Apply changes recursively" box will apply that set of permissions to all of the embedded files and folders in that directory.

Click "Apply" to set permissions.

Transmit 3.x

Select (click on) the file or folder you want to set permissions for. Then select "Get Info " from the "File" menu:

This will bring up a dialog box. Make sure the arrow next to "Permissions:" is pointing down. You will see 2 different ways to set permissions, either by checking boxes in a grid or by typing the numeric value of the permissions you'd like to set.

If you're setting permissions on a folder, clicking the "Apply to enclosed items... " button will apply that set of permissions to the current folder all of the embedded files and folders in that directory.

Fetch 5.x

Select (click on) the file or folder you want to set permissions for. Then select "Get Info " from the "Remote" menu:

This will bring up a dialog box. Make sure the arrow next to "Ownership and Permissions:" is pointing down and you will see 2 different ways to set permissions, either by checking boxes in a grid or by typing the numeric value of the permissions you'd like to set.

Click "Apply" to set permissions.

Adobe GoLive CS2

GoLive doesn't support changing file permissions as of version CS2. You should use one of the above FTP applications for the purpose of changing file and folder permissions.

Dreamweaver 8.x

Dreamweaver doesn't currently support changing file permissions. You should use one of the above FTP applications for the purpose of changing file and folder permissions.
