Support Topics: Email: How To: Create a POP/IMAP email account
1. Login to http://mail.machighway.com/cgi-bin/qmailadmin with the username: postmaster, domain name: your domain name without www and using your FTP password as the password. (detailed instructions)
2. Once logged in you will see the main menu. Click on New Email Account.
3. In the topmost field type in the part of the email address you'd like to have before the @ sybmol. (example you type in bob if you want bob@yourdomain.com)
4. In the next 2 fields you will type and re-type the password you want to assign to this email address.
5. In the Real Name field type the name of the person who will be using this account. This field isn't really used for anything but it's required that you put something in to complete the setup.
6. Click Add.
Congratulations. You've now successfully setup a new email address. If you need to modify or delete this account in the future you can find it in the "Email accounts" section from the Main menu. |
