Support Topics: Email: Troubleshooting: I cannot receive email


If you are having problems receiving email from your MacHighway account, the first thing you will want to look at is the "whois" information for your domain name registration. You can do this by clicking here.You will want to make sure that the expiration date hasn't passed, that the last updated date is more than 72 hours ago and that STEVE.MACHIGHWAY.COM, OTHERSTEVE.MACHIGHWAY.COM appear somewhere in the "whois" information.

If your domain registry is current and your domain name servers are pointing at us, you will want to review your account settings for receiving mail.

Open Account Settings Instructions For:
Apple Mail App
Outlook / Entourage
Eudora

Make sure that your incoming mail server is set to: mail.machighway.com

Make sure that your Account/Username is set to: user%domainname.com (essentially, your username is identical to your email address with the exception of the % replacing the @)

Make sure that your password matches the password that you have setup for that particular email account. If you have forgotten the password, you can follow these instructions to reset the password.
